Leader - Ukulele, Banjolele & Kazoo player
Rick is the band leader, a very talented musician Rick has been in various bands since his youth and is an excellent drummer and guitar player as well as playing the ukulele and kazoo.
Ukulele & Soloist
Derrick is a very accomplished player having played the ukelele for a number of years and he is also a good vocalist, doing lots of solo spots.

Sue is one of our main vocalist as well as being a proficient ukulele player and she has also taken part in many amatuer musical shows.
Ukulele & Hand Percussion Player
Ian has only been playing the ukulele for the past year or so but he has become an excellent player and rises to any challenge he encounters. Ian also plays the guitar, he is a music buff and is a keen angler.
Bass player
Georgina as well as being an accomplished bass player Georgina also plays the Ukulele. Georgina also plays the bass with small groups of musicians.

Serenela is our newest member to the Group. Though Serenela has only been playing the ukulele for a short time, she has mastered it very quickly. to become a valued member of the group.
Ukulele, Singer and Harmonica
Kevin has played various instruments throughout his life but the ukulele is his favourite. He is an excellent musician and plays solo introductions to many of the band's songs.

Allan is the latest member to join the band. He got into playing the Ukulele on a cruise holiday. He enjoys playing the instrument and also singing with the group.
The Uke N Strum Ukulele Band will be playing for the St Helens Dementia Group. Uke N Strum members to arrive at 9.45 am to play at 10.30 am
We will be playing for the residents of this residential care home so members of the public will not be alowed to watch. Uke N Strum members to arrive at a time to be fixed.

Uke N Strum will be playing on Sunday 10th September 2023 at 3pm. UNS members to get there at 2.30 pm to get set up :-)
The Uke N Strum Ukulele Band will be performing between 10 am and 3 pm at the Dog Show being held on Saturday 19th August 2023. Every man and his dog welcome lol :-)
We will be playing at 3pm as part of the RSPCA WHS One Fun Day WARRINGTON. Join Warrington RSPCA for a fun day full of games, refreshments, stalls and plenty more! Free entry. The day starts at 12 Noon and runs until 4pm. Our band leader wants Uke N Strum members to arrive at about 2.15pm giving us a good set-up time span.
We will be performing to a function arranged for Ex-Service Men. Uke N Strum guys to arrive for 3.30pm More Details to follow.
The band will be playing at 4.30pm at the Upper Station Car Park. Uke N Strummers to get there for 4 pm ish. This event is part of the celebrations of the King's Coronation and is a Ho Ho Helsby Event.
We will be perfoming after 7.15 pm or later and celebrating St Patrick's Day along with the audience. Uke N Strum members to arrive at 7pm.

We'll be playing at the Marquee from 12pm. There'll be lots of things going on so come along and watch us and visit all the stalls etc..
We are told that this gig is in support of St John's Church. Public welcome to call in and watch us play about 11.45. Uke N Strum members to arrive for 10 am
Bootle Ukulele Fun Festival. A free, family friendly festival on August 20th and 21st featuring 25+ ukulele acts on 2 stages, Stalls, Food, a mini Beer Festival. We have a slot at 3 pm on the Sunday 21st August.
We will be playing at this iconic Chester Music Venue from 1pm - 5 pm with breaks. Described on Google as "Great place to see live music during the weekends in summer. Seats around the bandstand provide a great place to sit and relax." Members of the general public can obviously attend this gig.
We will be playing for this Care Home residents so, obviously, no members of the general public will be allowed in.
